So Near and Yet So Far…

I’ve spoken of a desire to visit the US of late: in reality, a desire to visit my tea friends there.

Well, I’m taking steps!

Firstly, you can expect an announcement soon about our teas being available in the US via mail order, and hopefully soon after that, at a High Tea near you!

But more on that later. It is totally top secret that our launch date in the US is in May, so shhhh!

And just as exciting is that over the next 2 weeks -once my new video camera arrives – I shall be making the first part of an exclusive video version of my new live Tea Show.

The debut of the show is in New York, and as I can’t be there in person, the first part of the presentation will be on video for quality reasons, and the second part is where I will join in via cam.

I am so excited that the debut of my show “Life Blends” will be at the Annual White Tea Spring event. If you are even remotely near New York I hope that you will take part. It’s a great event that has been put on for some years now by Jo (@agiftoftea) and I am thrilled to have been asked.

I hope then to tour the show in the UK and Europe and maybe do an Australian show or two.

I will not give away too much, but during each show I’ll create special blends that reflect the surroundings , history, people and brews that seem most relevant to each show, so no two shows will ever be exactly the same. Lots of stories and a lot of tea.

At the NY event, I’m also thrilled that The Devotea brand teas will be served.

There is so much good stuff happening right now, you’ll see and endless stream of happy blogs from me. I may even give up ranting for a day or two, but never fear, it’s not forever.

So, for now, book into the event. Seats are limited, I imagine, and once the news gets out, I am sure scalpers will be buying up all the tickets to sell at inflated prices. Others may wish to describe this as the second most important tea-related happening in US history, to which I will modestly decline to comment.
